It is unlawful to carry on or engage in any business, profession or occupation within
the Town, which business, profession or occupation consists in the selling of goods,
wares or merchandise, or the performing or rendering of service, for charge, except
as exempted from this Chapter, without first having obtained a license for each such
business, profession or occupation so carried on or engaged in. (Prior code 6.02.02)
