§ 6-2-10. Purpose.

The purpose of this Article shall be to require the licensing and regulation of all business activities and enterprises conducted within the Town, except as exempted from this Chapter, and to provide the Town with necessary information concerning the business activities within the Town, including the nature of the business operation, the place of business and such other information relating to businesses and professions operating within the Town in order to protect the health, welfare and safety of its inhabitants.
