§ 6-2-50. Liability of operator, manager.

The licensing provisions hereof shall apply to the owner of any business; provided, however, that where the owner is a firm or corporation, or where the owner is a nonresident or cannot be found, the operator or manager of such business shall be responsible for obtaining the necessary license and shall be liable for his or her failure to obtain such license.
