§ 6-1-110. Term and fee proration.

  • In the absence of any specific provision to the contrary, all licenses shall be issued on a calendar year basis, and they shall expire with the calendar year for which they are issued; provided, however, that issuance and expiration of all classes of liquor licenses and all fermented malt beverage licenses shall be according to the laws of the State. In the absence of any specific provision to the contrary, for an applicant who has not engaged in the business until after the expiration of part of the current license year, fees may be prorated on a quarterly basis, with the applicant responsible for the entire fee for the quarter in which the application is made and each succeeding quarter up to and including the final quarter of the calendar year of the initial application.
