§ 1-3-90. Certification of Code.

  • The Board of Trustees and Town Administrator/Clerk shall carefully examine at least one (1) copy of the Code adopted by the adopting ordinance to see that it is a true and correct copy of this Code. Similarly, after each supplement has been prepared, printed and inserted in this Code, the Board of Trustees and Town Administrator/Clerk shall carefully examine at least one (1) copy of this Code as supplemented. The Town Administrator/Clerk shall then insert a certificate in the front of said true and correct copy of this Code certifying substantially that the copy is a true and correct copy containing all permanent and general ordinances passed or adopted since the previous supplement. Both the Mayor and the Town Administrator/Clerk shall sign the certificate and the Town Administrator/Clerk shall seal it with the seal of the Town. The copy of this Code as originally adopted or amended, certified and sealed, shall constitute the permanent and general ordinances of the Town as of the date indicated in the certificate and shall be so accepted by the courts of law, administrative tribunals and all others concerned.
